Laptops are getting sophisticated, faster, lighter. The one thing still trailing behind is the battery. Following are things you can do on your laptop to conserve power and extend its Laptop battery life.

Power Scheme Mode – -

Selecting the right “power scheme” will help to prolong the life of laptop battery. Use the “Low Power Mode” since it will not consume more power than “Max Power Mode” battery.

To adjust battery setting: Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance. Click on the “Power Options” icon. The power setting window will appear, make your settings from there on.

- – Stop Background Programs – -

Pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Delete simultaneously to bring up the Task Manager. Under the first tab (Applications), you can see all the current “open” programs that are running on your laptop, try to close the background from your DLSR Battery Grip.

Click the Process tab, next to the Applications. You will see all the real-time processing items on your laptop, kill those that you are not using. All the unused programs but are running will increase the CPU usage, which in turn will cause a lots of wasting power.
